This is an interactive sing - song way of teaching where mommy or daddy is in the water with little one learning together.
It a fun and secure way for your little one to become familiar with water and learn to swim at an early age.
Time in the water is also beneficial for growing bodies, helping them with strength and co-ordination. Baby swimming starts at 6 months to 3 years.
We have been told many times that you can easily spot the Starfish Swimmers at the galas by their beautiful stoke.
The correct techniques for strokes and preparation thereof are taught from day one with focus on streamlining, correct body position, and proficient kicking and pulling ensuring maximum distance per stroke.
We offer lessons for all levels, from the most nervous beginners to advanced stroke correction.
Should you wish to compete in tri-athlons or dam swims, we can help you get fit and assist with fine tuning your stroke.
We offer adult classes in the mornings, lunch times and evenings until 7 pm.
The learn-to-swim lessons start for children from 2.5 years old up. We do not force but encourage through fun and innovative methods.
Children are taught in small groups of usually 3-4 pupils per group and lessons are 30 minutes in duration plus 10 minutes playtime, provided there is parental supervision.
The teacher is always in the pool with children ensuring they feel safe and secure.
Junior squad sessions help build strength and stamina with continued work on technique and style. The lessons are 45 minutes in duration and the results speak for themselves during galas and competitions.
Morning or lunchtime classes offered if there are 6 or more ladies/gents who want to join. Get a group of your friends together and we’ll arrange the class.
R650 per month for 2 x 45 minute lessons per week.
